"Apple Ditches IBM, switches to Intel Chips": 20 years ago, this headline would have caused the Mac faithful to faint. Just as Apple has made significant architecture transitions in the last 20 years: MacOS 1-6 to 7, 680x0 to PowerPC and MacOS 7-9 to MacOS X, this one is going to be an interesting ride.
