Mahi-Mahi

By Nick Hodge | February 18, 2008

Ok, so this kid gets PR from the school after copying not Wikepedia, but Mythbusters (Screened episode 11, season 1)

C'mon teachers: modern pop-culture is not defined by merely "the internets".

Oh, and a big thanks to Sue Waters: the person with the best job title I know of: Aquaculturalist. Evidently, Mahi-mahi are smart fish.

MMmm that is definitely a bit suss considering many people can remember the famous Goldfish episode on Mythbusters. I would hope the student acknowledged in his report that he was following up results from their experiment.

Bonus points for actually locating the news article -- which I believe was posted today about the very topic where we talking about on twitter on Saturday. Now that is pretty amazing. You rigged this somehow?

Technically speaking you called Mahi-Mahi smart and I said not exactly - more like the Ian Thorpes of the fish World. ROFL
