If you are the idiot

Whomever keyed my MINI Cooper S — whilst it was parked behind my house — on all panels — you are a low life idiot. YOU SUCK! Oh well, a fresh coat of british racing green on Megan!

MINI Lovers of the World Unite

without comments

Kurt Foss, Editor at PlanetPDF is a fellow MINI owner and cult member. Yes, we are a cult! He’s presently in Australia and hired a MINI to drive the famous Victorian Great Ocean Road. Go Kurt!

Speaking of MINI cults, Liam met another fellow MINI lover, Catriona Rowntree last night! And Steve from Typefi, developers of an InDesign-based book publishing system, has a brother in the US who owns a MINI. This MINI stuff is a small world. And we are a growing cult!

Saw The Italian Job (2002) along with a bunch of other MINI2 regulars. Proceeds went to the Deb Bailey Foundation. Pictures here: Sydney MINI2 Italian Job 11 August 03. Including Liam with Catriona!

www.adobe.com facelift

without comments

Even www.adobe.com gets a facelift after a couple of years.

Wow! we do some great software. In Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 we added the ability to capture still frames from video footage files. Then using the Filter>Video>De-interlace, I could create half-decent still shots from moving footage!
The results are here at the bottom of Sydney MINI2 Meet 18 May 03

OK, I am very naughty. I have 42 days owing of PTO (holidays, vacation) which is 50% over the Adobe legal limit. Oops!

Andrew and Melody’s MINI Wedding 24 May 03. Another MINI weekend outing! Congratulations to Andrew and Melody. It was such a hoot as a wedding driver. Especially in a MINI.

Original MINI

without comments

Nick’s Old, Original MINI. This is where my love affair with the MINI started — in the late 1980s. Here are some photos I found taken at the time as publicity shots for the band I was in Stranger than Fiction. One day I will be brave enough to upload the music. It took enough courage just to upload the images you see here.
