Aggregate Megapixel Measurement

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

Sony HDV Camera: 6 Megapixels
Canon Digital IXUS 1000: 10 Megapixels
Palm Treo 750: 1.3 Megapixels
Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000: 2 Megapixels
TOTAL: 19.3 Megapixels
Just think, without all that CCD capturing technology, photos like the above would just never happen.

iTunes, iPod Touch and Windows

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

It's nearly a week since I upgraded my iPod from a generation 3 to one of the cool, uber-geek iPod Touch devices. As a 99.5% Windows Vista user, I am impressed.
The iPod Touch works on our home wifi. In the morning I check emails and other overnight happenings from the comfort of my bed in [...]

Unix is not meant to be easy I suppose.
This post from Mike on Virtually Vista is a great help.
For those on Toshiba M400 beasties, I've found that the Toshiba RAID driver 1.9.15.0 in combination with the BIOS 3.40 make QuickTime, iTunes and Virtual PC 2007 work well. Other HDD drivers installed after 1.9.15.0 do [...]

Fibre to the Dunny

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

(original image)
With Australian Politicians using "Fibre to the Node" and "Fibre to the Home" as election ploys, I think It's Time to raise the issue to a new level:
Fibre to the Dunny.
We should not rest until every Dunny in Australia has Fibre. Face it, that's where the best browsing occurs.
Also, with Australia's rising colorectal cancer, [...]

Amazing to think 12 months ago I was essentially unemployed. Now I make stuff for Microsoft. Do videos, star in videos. Funny how the world works.
Thanks, Frankarr.
